Her Term Wellness series

At Her Term, we believe in empowering and supporting the women who serve our state in elected office. After an incredibly challenging year, we want to provide opportunities for rest, rejuvenation and community building among our state's dedicated Democratic women legislators. This Wellness Series for women leaders was created in consultation with Senator Sally Harrell and Representative Ruwa Romman. Their expertise and insights have allowed us to thoughtfully craft rejuvenating experiences.

That's why we're so excited to announce the expansion of our wellness programming with two events:

  • The Her Term Wellness Retreat on October 15th, 2023, will provide a full day of relaxation and sisterhood, hosted at the beautiful Buckhead Goat Mansion. Attendees will enjoy yoga, facials, massages, healthy food and drink, and meaningful conversations away from the Capitol. We have space for overnight accommodations for those traveling from outside Atlanta.

  • On Galentine's Day (February 13, 2024), we'll have a Her Term Wellness Break, transforming a Capitol conference room into an oasis, with refreshments, comfortable seating and stress-relief activities available throughout the day. Stop by and recharge during your hectic legislative schedule!

We're calling on businesses, organizations and individual supporters to give back to our legislators who work tirelessly to protect our rights. Please help make these events possible through donations of goods, services and funding. Email han@herterm.org to coordinate.

Elected women: please join us and invite your colleagues!

We're committed to fostering community, resilience and balance for the dedicated women serving under the Gold Dome. Together, we can empower them to thrive, personally and professionally.
